Letter From Your Chef

Dear Valuable Community Member, 

Thank you for your unwavering support over the years in transforming Nyamnz Martha's Vineyard from an idea to a routined household experience. We have ventured across states, and islands sharing the love of food within your home and our curated spaces together.

As I reflect on the incredible journey of Nyamnz MV, I am thrilled to share some exciting updates about the next chapter for me and the brand. Over the years, Nyamnz MV has become a cornerstone for bringing culture, community, and creativity to your plates, and now, I am taking this mission further than ever before.

As of 2024 I have ended my permanent residency in Martha's Vineyard and have made the decision to return home to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Here in Jamaica, I am on a mission to “eat through the island.” Exploring its rich culinary landscape, diving deep into the heart of its food culture, and sharing my discoveries with you through my websites blog, Instagram, and YouTube platforms. This new adventure allows me to connect with the roots of my cooking, celebrate local artisans, and bring a taste of Jamaica’s vibrant food scene to a broader audience.

What does this mean for us?

For the duration of the winter & spring I will reside in Jamaica.While my journey is evolving, I remain dedicated to creating unforgettable culinary experiences for you. For the 2025 summer season, I will return to Martha’s Vineyard for six weeks, from July 6th through August 17th. For those seeking year-round experiences, travel chef services are still available, as well as private culinary experiences in Jamaica. Whether you’re visiting the island and are seeking a chef or desire a curated food tour guide, I would be honored to share the magic of Jamaican cuisine and hospitality with you.
